Rockgate has proven methods of sales training. In fact, the Company places such a high emphasis on sales that each General Manager must complete formal sales training classes provided by the company.
The Rockgate corporate sales and marketing team will identify potential markets for the hotel. Extensive time will be spent with the hotel sales team for training purposes. Any successful sales effort depends on the continuous flow of prospects for its product.
The Company will provide the sales team with the expertise necessary to maintain a flow of prospects and ultimately book the business. External Revenue Managers (Franchisor provided or otherwise) will always be used to extend market understanding, trends and new demand generators. An ongoing sales and marketing action plan is in place at all Rockgate hotels. This enables sales teams to "stay the course" and focus on revenue maximization for the hotel.
